Happy Hour Watches-It’s 5pm Somewhere

We all love Fridays. End of the week, time to relax and contemplate and plan the two days of impending office free time. For those who really love that 5pm Friday-feeling there’s a watch to help you count down the moments and pay homage to that special time of the week.

Happy Hour’s newly re-branded range are designed to signal the transition between work and play, a swift move from office to bar enabled by the bottle opener buckle which features on each piece.

There are three models to choose from,  aptly named The Lightweight, Bottoms Up and The Ish.

 The Bottoms Up

The Lightweight

My favourite has to be The Ish. The watch features a frosted mineral lens with a clear window at 5o’clock, making the time “crystal clear when matters most, and a little less focused the rest of the time”. The rest of the time being every other time except 5pm.

The Ish. Helping you keep your priorities straight...

Although these are not serious timepieces I do love the brands’ ethos. Happy Hour believe that in the wake of the digital age, nurturing real relationships face to face over a few ice–cold beverages is important for our personal wellbeing. Their range of watches are there to remind of the need of sustaining traditional social interaction, sparking new conversations and bringing people together in real time.

Personally my idea of promoting wellbeing after 5pm include a double duvet, a Walking Dead box set and a vat of tea but each to their own.

These are charming timepieces and an ideal for those zealous after-work-drink colleagues. Secret Santa gifts sorted. For more details visit Happy Hour's groovy website here

Happy Friday all.
