Lego Watches- Not Just for Kids

As the child who spent an unhealthy amount of time with her Lego pirate ship (Captained by My Little Pony of course) , I think I may be the perfect customer for Lego’s new range of adult watches.

With bright colours, changeable links and straps, the Lego Watch System follows a similar design DNA as the children’s range, subtly refined for the adult market. There are models with day/date complications, chrographs and even a digital model which will appeal to those who like their watch to have a range of functions as well as a grinning Lego head.

All the cases are plastic with Japanese movements and range from the brightest childish designs to a few quite understated and something you could get away with wearing to the office without raising the eyebrows of the fun police.

 Understated Lego-chic

The perfect mix of novelty and nostalgia the range is vibrant and fun and at least one of these watches will be going on my Christmas list. At price points between $85-$185 (so approx. £50) these are as affordable as my Lego sets except, unlike the pirate figurines, much more socially acceptable to carry round each day without attracting the wrong sort of attention.

 Swashbuckling memories.

These all launch in November, available from Lego Watcehs and Clocks

I love seeing this type of product come to market. Something fun and accessible but still thoughtfully executed. A combination many fashion watch brands fail to achieve.
